The Intensive Care and Emergency Medical Symposium at Lake Wörthersee is taking place for the ninth time this year after it started again in 2018.
The event is organized by the Department of Anaesthesiology, General Intensive Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Interdisciplinary Pain Therapy and Palliative Medicine and the Department of Internal Medicine and Cardiology of the Klagenfurt am Wörthersee Clinic. The program covers a wide range of topics relevant to everyday life, which can be of interest to any doctor who is interested in or working in emergency and intensive care medicine.
The self-evident and central importance of interdisciplinarity and interprofessionalism is taken into account by many program items, which are designed and offered both by and for physicians and by and for nursing professions.
